John Borg Manduca – Malta Landscapes and Seascapes is a new book by Professor Victor Grech on behalf of Beating Hearts Malta, that celebrates the works of the late John Borg Manduca.
The successful book launch was held on the 19th February 2022 and it was sponsored by the Westin Dragonara Resort and all proceeds from the sale of the book went to the Save and Support Trust and Beating Hearts Malta.
When asked why he wrote this book, Prof Grech said: “John Borg Manduca taught me how to paint – his only pupil. On his demise, I spoke to his two sons Stefan and Juan and offered to write a book about their father with their sponsorship, a book whose sales would go to Beating Hearts Malta and Save & Support Trust. Professor Richard England very kindly wrote the introduction.
The launch was a successful event and the book was a small tribute from Prof Victor Grech, to his artistic teacher and mentor.”
